Unraveling Mysteries. One Book at a Time
About Prairie Crime Press
Prairie Crime Press publishes true crime and investigative nonfiction built on verifiable records, primary-source evidence, and disciplined reporting. Our focus is on cases that shape communities, expose systemic failures, and demand clarity.
We do not dramatize, embellish, or recycle second‑hand summaries. Every title is grounded in court files, interviews, archival documents, and documented fact patterns. Our work prioritizes accuracy over speculation, ethics over sensationalism, and transparency over narrative convenience.
Prairie Crime Press was founded by investigative journalist Lisa Joy, whose reporting background includes decades of case analysis, source verification, and forensic‑grade documentation. Her work has followed complex criminal cases through shifting truths, institutional silence, and long‑term community impact.
Our mission is simple: Evidence. Clarity. Truth. We publish books that help readers understand what really happened — and why it still matters.
